shiny exhaust (how to polish exhaust?)

i have the exact same exhaust. when i first bought it, she was hecka dirty. i went to ace and got a bottle of stainless steel cleaner. worked real well on the canister, but no on the tip. The tip has an interesting finish to it. It looks like it has oil on it.

Mother's Billet Polish works wonders on chromed surfaces like the tip and canister of most exhausts, while stainless steel cleaner works nicely on the piping. Are we all clear now?

I use turtle wax chrome polish, even though my tips definitely not chrome. It works pretty well for shine, not the best cleaner though, I just use regular car wash for that.
