I've noticed most GC8s if not all do not include sunroofs, so in light of this i'd like to add a roof scoop to whatever impreza i get and clean out the air conditioning accessories for a cleaner easier to work on engine bay. It'd be nice for fresh air, but would i have to worry about water leaking in while it sits? i could probably prevent this from happening by cutting the hole deep into the cavity, the car will be garaged also. I'd just kind of like your thoughts and opinions on this idea and where to get a cheap scoop, i don't want to spend alot of money on something as trivial as this.

 

If you want to put in a roof scoop, you should put in the little door thing that wrc cars have as well. That way you won't have to worry about leaking. They have like a mini sunroof under their scoop that they can open and close and you would probably want to put that in to make sure no leaks would occur.
