Has anyone bought a replica bodykit from Ebay ? I will never afford the real deal and have no problem buying a replica bodykit. I was wondering if anyone has purchased one from Ebay before ? If you did please let me know from who how was the fit ? Did you spend a ton of extra $$$ in body work to get it to look good ?
Here are 2 links to auctions that I was looking at.

I local guy bought one off of Ebay (Zerosports replica) for around $500... he used the back bumper, sideskirts, and wing. He said the front bumper was horribly off (by as much as 2") so he sold that to someone else.

I bought a syms v1 replica for an 02 wrx and the fitment was almost perfect, a little off 1/8 inch around 1 light but other than that it was in great shape. The body shop said it was one of the best they had ever seen. It cost me $500. Pretty much I'm a happy camper

I know the price is tempting... but remember, replicas are invariably more fragile and do not fit as well. (Sometimes original parts dont fit well either
). You get what you pay for.
I decided to just do touch up parts, like, eyelids, scoop, greddy lip and replica STi grill (not a part that sees much road-wear action). Its a clean look that's not too flashy.

All said and done, it cost me about $650, including parts, shipping and painting. Just something to consdier....

Your set up looks great !!! I am still going to hold out until the weather gets nicer before I decide which route to try. But I think you spent your $$$ very wisely. I am going to get a set of the eyelids ASAP. If anyone else has bought from Ebay please let me know how you liked the quality and who you bought from.

The upside to this is that the real JUN ones aren't much better... really.

Over all though I like them with imperfections rather than no eyelids at all. I filled in the outter edges with bathroom caulking and then painted it with touchup paint... it looks like CRAP
