I recently installed some Alpine Type-S 6.5 inch speakers in my front doors on my 02 WRX, but they seem to hit the door panels. I was wonderin if anyone has switched out the 02 door panels with newer ones, because they look as if they may fit, and seem to have more clearance for aftermarket speakers.

yeah go to iaperformance and get yourself spacer rings and longer snaps for the door. you also have to trim around the speaker grill inside the panel
