Removing dried Silicon from paint surface

I removed my factory wing and left behind is the dried up silicon they used to seal out water. Does anyone know which product might Dissolve, loosen this remaining material without damaging the clear coat?
I tried the 3m adhesive, bug and wax remover soaked in for several minutes with no help. I tried "goo gone" and that didn't work either.
Any other products out there or heating techniques?
thanks

Just be careful about using it on plastic/rubber seals. I have used it on my WRX, a friend of mine also used this when he was debadging. also works wonders for cleaning gunk off your windows too!

EDIT:
It seems fine on the window seals on the WRX, both 02 and 04 have been tested by my friend and myself. nothing wrong!
