that is the best advice, it also depends a bit on color (for example red is an extremely difficult color to match)

That is also very good advice. What year is your car? You may not just be able to use the factory paint code. Your car may look the same but fading has probably occured especially if it is a dark car. You may need to have paint laser matched. I think that shops that use dupont, and ppg paints would be the best, they may also have the paint matching technology. This seems like a lot of work. I know it's just a spoiler but you want it right the first time. good luck!

Edit: also make sure that body work, if needed is included in the price. If the part is "ready to paint" you should be ok. Not all new parts are straight. After it is painted is a bad time to find this out.

Another thing, If you can install the spoiler yourself that might be a good thing to do for a couple of reasons.

1. The shop might not charge as much if the spoiler is off the vehicle because of not as much prep work is needed compared to if it were on the car.

2. To protect your car from any accidental overspray.

just my thoughts

color matching shouldn't be a problem, they just get the color code off your car and order the paint. only time matching may be an issue is if your car is older and the paint is fading or something.

usually it costs $200 minimum even for the smallest peices because they have to order the paint and allocate some paint room time. best thing you can do is wait if your gunna have a lot of peices to paint and get'em all done at the same time.
