rear turn signal bulb type?

Did you turn the bulb 180° and try it? Are there two little bumps (contacts) on the bottom of the bulb? The little pins are offset at the bottom so it only goes in one way. I could be wrong it may be different in a wrx.

the bulb has one contac on the bottom of it. if you take a file and shave off one of the pins then the bulb will be held in place with the one pin. it has not caused a problem since i did it about 4 months ago. hope this helps.
