Angry Rattling Rear View Mirror

I just installed a sub and now my factory auto-dimming mirror rattles like crazy every time the bass hits. Is there a way to muffle the mirror or should I just replace it with the stock factory one. Anyone else had this problem? Thanks
Steve

There should be a screw on the back of the mirror around where the mirror pivots. If this comes loose it may cause a rattle. You can try putting some thin rubber strips on the mirror housing to dampen the vibrations. If that doesn't work, just turn the stereo down a bit
