Under the seat may be the airbag cable.....

I fixed the rattle at the defrost trim.

It's the godd*mn driver's door that is testing my nerves.

I have had the door panel off and cannot identify the clicking when going over irregular pavement.

Sounds plasticky.

there is a thread in scoobymods that talkd about fixing the rattle in the dashboard. it doesnt take that long to take it off and silence the little white clips that make the noise.

What exactly would you do to remedy the problem. I'm having the same problem with my seat, atleast it seems like it. My seat sounds like it has a deep toned pop at either the base of the seat, or in the back.

rattles

I have an '04 WRX wagon....lots of rattles, particularly from the trim. Very aggravating indeed. But like it was mentioned above, I'm not about to start taking my interior apart to try to fix it.

hey this works well, take all the molding off your doors, so that you can see all the nice plastic sheeting underneath, ripp that off, then use duct tape ove all the wiring, does not lok pretty but what the hell who cares, doors do not rattle anymore.

SlickmisterN,

good idea.

I have "fixed" a number of them myself:

1. glovebox-light switch

2. silver trim around HVAC/stereo

3. clock insert in dash

4. the infamous VIN-plate trim in front of dash

5. "some" of the rattles in the door.

If you think this car is bad you should take a ride in my girlfriend's 03 Tiburon. A new rattle literally pops up bi-weekly. There is so much duct tape in the car silencing rattles that it is probably 5/10 slower in the 1/4.
