projector headlights

my girl bought me these lights for christmas and for some reason when I installed them my dash says my brights are on and there not...Does anybody have these or knows why it does this??? Please help

Please dont reply if you are going to say that they are CRAP, they were given as a gift from someone who does not own a wrx, so its the thought that counts...

Sorry, but those lights aren't that good...I have seen at least three seperate posts about these, and I have also seen them advertised on ebay...they're cheap
From what everyone else has said, there is no way to fix them...try to sell them again on ebay and use the money to buy something else for your car
As you said, it's the thought that counts...It's not your girl's fault...the $150 price tag is deceiving...

Mulder has come up with a solution to fix these these headlights. It only involves switching to wires. You can read the solution and see the results on the 2nd page of the Post: WRX Headlight Conversion

I'm not looking at buying these so don't try to talk me out of it, I'm curious, Are these actually Projector lights or are they reflectors like the standard USDM ones. I saw a close up pic of them and they look to just be reflector lights. Isn't this false advertising on eBAY?-James
