Powerflow Splashguards installed on STi

I am tired of getting streaks of dirt on the side of my car everytime I go through a small puddle. I do not like the trucker look of the rally type mud flaps. So I got these universal ones for $15 a pair from my local Pep Boys. I used model #1 for the front and rear. The splashguards only came with self tapping screws which I did not use. I went to my local hardware store and got:

x10 1/4" (or #14) speednuts.
x10 #14 1" phillip panhead screws.
x10 1/4" zinc flat washers.

I replaced the three front trim fastners with the screws and nuts I bought. The rears only required two set of screws and nuts each. I had to do a little trimming on the bottom of the front splashguards due to a protrusion that prevented the splashguard to sit flat against the car. I used a heat gun to have the sides sit flush with the body. I also used double sided tape to hold the top edges.

Trimmed here.

Front flap.

Rear shot.

They work pretty good for normal sized puddles.
