I need the clips that attach the plastic gauge housing hood to the metal frame underneath it. I can't find the part number, and have been to two dealerships and they couldn't find it either....

 

i just called subaru and they are supposed to call back with an answer. they are checking some of the hardware kits that are listed for the gauge housing to see if the clips are a part of it.

 

Hey thanks, I've tried searching everywhere and I can't find it. I've tried parts depts at three different dealerships to no avail.

The gauge hood sits on top of the dash with nothing holding it in. If I shift to fast or accelerate too hard, it flies off the dash into my shifter/center console area. VERY annoying.

 

Anyone?

 

sorry it took so long. i've been sick for a couple days. subaru called and said that the clips should have come on the housing and aren't available separate. ??? that's a new one on me. i looked around the shop to see if we had any laying around with no luck. i wish i could've helped out more!

 

Thanks, I've tried the dealer and they couldn't find it. I have took apart almost my entire dash and center console trying to find another clip to fit without any luck. Pep Boys, Autozone, and Advance Auto parts don't have anything either. Time to get creative, maybe with velcro.
