Question painted headlights???

hey kids, whats up? I'm tryin to get my rex to look different, but stealth, right. I've seen some of the stock headlights with the chrome around the blinker and city light painted black, I want to try to paint mine blue to match the car, and then you guys can look at it and see what you think... anybody got any secrets to getting the headlight assembly apart without breaking it? thanks for the help, lata

On a side note I have never seen this done to a set of STi headlights, but I think it would look damn cool.

Question what color???

my baby is the pearl blue, do you guys think the headlights would look better flat black, gloss black or blue??? let me know, I'm leaning toward blue though, cause I haven't seen it done yet. Also, I found some lenses from glasses or something at this computer geek store that are the exact diameter of the pvc pipe that koji uses, and then I found a chrome flange nut that is meant to connect the p-trap on your sink at home, and if you dremel out the threads (I think its actually chromed brass, so its soft metal) it will slide over both the lense and tip of the plastic pipe to make it look like the blinkers in the late model toyota supra, I'm still workin on it, but it will be sweet. I'll try to post some pics later.

one of mine fogged up also..
what is the best way to get rid of the fog?
can i pop it back into the oven for a few minutes to vaporize whatever liquid is inside, or should i do that and add alittle extra silicone on the side?
