I just installed the OEM fog lights for my 05 Impreza RS(my car didn't come with them). I Ebay'd the lights and ordered the switch and relay. I installed everything, but the fog switch doesn't turn on the fogs at all. The fog light switch does turn on the high beams though. I'm thinking I have the wrong switch or a bad relay. All the wiring schematics and write ups are for older Subies, and looking at the wiring in my car the colors and locations are different. I'd love some advise before I just wire around the factory system.

 

I just recently did this with my 2.5. I bought the whole set up off a guy on another forum. Mine was just a plug n play. All of the wiring is there from the factory. The only thing i can think of is to make sure you have the relay and the switch plugged into the correct connecters.

 

I had a switch from a different model. I had to switch around the pins in the connector for the switch itself and it works fine now. My problem now is that I popped the fuse for the dash lights enough times that the potentiometer for them is broken. I can't dim the dash lights any more, anyone know where that little black box is?
