Okay I really dont want to part with these things, but I reall want a new set of race style seats. I found Recaro made a few sets but neither really looked all the great. Can anyone think of a solution for me?

I don't think I would even bother to try. There's no guarantee that the modified seats/airbags would work properly in an emergency situation. If someone doesn't make an airbag-equipped seat ready-made for your exact model car, it wouldn't be safe. You or your passenger might be injured from the bag deploying improperly. Manufacturers test these combinations in cars with crash test dummies. Don't volunteer for this job!

I know what you mean, though - I'd love to get a pair of Sparcos but would have to think about what this would mean as far as safety goes.
