No Dashboard lights...

Well, I turn on my car today, and the gauges have no lighting. I can see my clock and my turn signals/headlights light, but all the gauge lights, as well as my shifter lights are all off.

I tried looking at the fuses in the dark, seeing if the little bump metal piece was broken, but I can't find one that's blown.

There is very very little light, it's almost all dark, but there seems to be a faint amount of power to the lighting, but it's not enough to see when driving in the dark, which makes it dangerous.

Anyone know what is up?

Did you try adjusting the dash light switch on the turn signal lever?

Ha, I've never noticed a dash light switch, I'll go check that now.

Haha yes I am a moron. That was it. I let my friend drive the car last night (designated driver anyone?) and I guess when he shut off the car and lights he dimmed them accidentally.

I wasn't even aware there was a dimmer switch...

Hey Ed, how did you know the answer I wonder if this is as ubiquitous as the "How do I turn off my parking lights?!". What funny is I was about to go check the lighting schematics

Hey now, I knew about the parking light switch from before

I just didn't realize my DD friend hit that, so I assumed a fuse was blown ( happens quite frequently when cars have audio systems, or so I've heard ).
