Newest mods... eyelids, screen, guards
Just put on my Gruppe-S jun replica eyelids and my hood scoop screen to protect from those pesky rocks. Also got the Subaru RS splashguards. Put on the rears but waiting till next week to mod the front ones.

Those style eyelids are growing on me. I think either those or the Morette headlights are the only way to go when it comes to seeing in front of you.
I'm interested in getting guards for my car too.
Where'd you get them and what is involved with moding the front?

I got them from www.subaruparts.com for a good price I think. I could've gotten the Prodrive I think it was, that are specifically made for the WRX but I didn't wanna pay $170+ for them. You just have to cut the front because the WRX side skirt blocks fitment. It's hard to explain, but easy to see in person. I'll post pics ASAP.

how is the fit on the eyelids? I know that some people had issues with them. they didnt fit right on the outside edge of the car. they didnt match the lines. something like that.

did you use correct subaru paint or is that just a generic blue?
also did you paint the inside of the light?
oh 2 more things.... you'd know....
do you have to re-head the lights when putting them back together and when you remove the orange part do you have to get an orange bulb?

I couldn't find correct subaru paint anywhere, because i live in hawaii, and have an RS. It's REALLY close the glare from the plastic makes it look a slightly diff color. I don't like the plastic look too much, but i still like it better than the eyelids
Yeah i painted the inside of the light, so i could always repaint it chrome if i want, that's all it is, chome paint in there. I didn't put an orange bulb in because the law in Hawaii is white to orange, but i made the side markes blink anyway.
As far as re-heating, i did one at a time and did it quick enough that the sealant was still gooy, that stuff takes forever to cool. and it gets everywhere, it's worse than spderweb

Damn I dont want to have to deal with gooey stuff all over the head light... especialy if I want to paint the piece in side how do I leave time to dry?
are there any places that do this stuff cheap?
