MY03 ignition light mod
I was wondering if anyone has done the MY03 ignition mod on their non MY03 impreza yet. anyone got the part #s?

I wanted to see if anyone has done it yet with a write-up and pics... but i think i can figure it out if i'm the first to do it

I don't think anyone has done this yet, but I will say I would love to do this mod too. I hate fumbeling with my keys in the dark.

We have it on our 02 VDC Outback, maybe the parts are similar. I'll have a closer look and maybe take a pic. I can only compare it to a 99RS not sure how similar the WRX key area is to it.
Just wondering, for you WRX guys with the alarm upgrade, does your dome light come on when you disarm the system or turn off the car like my RS's? It makes it easier to find the keyhole. Light turns off in about 60 sec or when you start the car.

I guess the question is what does one wire it to? I'm sure I can take apart the OB's steering plastic cover and have a look in there and take some pics (when the wife isn't looking 
) but there must be some delay that keeps it on I forget it may go w/ the dome light in the OB. Does the dome light stay on in the WRX after you shut the door?
