my interior lighting..

well i've finally started revamping my '02 rex interior.
it's not really original but none-the-less it looks good so far. i'm doing red and i figured i'd post pics along the way.. if anyone needs help feel free to PM me rather then post since there are some good posts and a really good sticky by Salty on this subject (you can also check out nasioc.com - they have some good posts on this subject matter).
so far i've only recieved the bulb covers which i used for my buddy's sti (i/c spray and light level selector switch) as well as on my fog light switch and cruise control. i painted the driver side window controls but they're too dim to really see - i might wire in some 12v led's under the switches to brighten them up, but they're really the least of my concerns. tomorrow or the next day i should have my bulbs to do hvac, radio, cluster and i'll paint the glass onmy clock red with glass paint - so i'll be sure to post pics of my work.
but so far here ya go:

peace - dub.

Cool radio and hvac

here's my radio and hvac that is done. unfortunately i couldn't shave enuff plastic off of the super bright 194 led's to fit in the hvac, so i used #74's in red. there is a little bit of dimming to either end (right & left) of the hvac so i painted the stockers and i'll put them in tomorrow when they dry..
peace, dub.

yo - interior lighting

the radio you have to basically disassemble. the hvac comes out when the radio is removed and there are two bulbs behind it. i used a combination of bulb covers .10" (www.partsexpress.com) and red led's for the hvac found at (www.superbrightleds.com)
the cluster can be done, i forgo'ed doing mine b/c i'm selling/ trading the car for an '05 sti. you have to complete remove the cluster, sand all the green film off behind the cluster it self and cover all 6 (i believe) bulbs with covers.
most important!! there are many stickies on i-club as well as nasioc about this subject. all with detailed instructions and pictures provided to make it as easy as can be - which i might add it is really easy to do this mod.
good luck!
