My fuel gauge is DEAD
So as the title says, my fuel gauge is dead. Along with that so is my tach and temp gauge. The only one that works is the mechanical speedo.
I guess that is what you get when doing a ver2 rhd sti conversion.
So instead of going back and fixing my wiring mistakes I would rather just get some aftermarket gauges instead.
Thats all good up until I try to get a fuel gauge, I need to know the ohm range of the oem fuel gauge.
I have tried searching, calling shops, and even went up to subaru, but no one seems to know. I would just test it on my own car but the rear diff is out and on top of that the darn thing is only running on 3 cylinders.
Is any one willing to test the resistance in the fuel level wire on their awd gc at empty and at full for me.
There are 3 connectors that go to the rear harness on the passenger side behind the kick panel. Its the Bown wire with the white stripe on the big white connector for the rear harness.
Would someone please test the resistance between this wire and ground for me.
Once again I need a reading at empty and at full.
thanks for any help
