my clock is dead
Hey guys n gals, my clock died on my odometer. any reasons why and how it died? well the more important question is how can i restore it? any help is nice. thanks for lookin. oh and its a 99 rs coupe.

When you say clock, do you mean Time? or do you mean mile reading? If its the clock its normal and you would have to replace it. If its on your cluster gauge (mile reading), try disconnecting the neg and reset the car. That might work.
If not you need a new one..

yes I mean the time. I havn't tried disconnecting the negative on my battery...it seems to be normal on subies...i guess i'll have to rely on my watch and phone for time...thanks for your reply. i thot it might have been a fuse but i doubt it since my odometer still runs fine
I've got the same problem.....i've checked my fuses under the hood and under my steering column........any other ideas to fix it?
If the dash-pod clock is not working on your 02, it's likely due to a bad solder connection on the circuit board inside the clock itself. This is very common. If you have the skills and tools you can take it apart and resolder the bad connection yourself, otherwise scan the classifieds for a used clock. They are frequently for sale by people who installed gauges in the clock location, they go for around $20-25.
