Morette Wiring Help

Let me ask you all a question......

With your high beams on, do you're low beams turn off or stay on?

My car can't decide... when I hit the brights, the drivers side low beam stays on, and the passenger turns off. What am I missing?

Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

do you have the wired relay which runs from the battery directly to the drivers side light, then across to the passenger side light?

Yes, I do. I could only find a mate to one of the plugs on the passenger side end of the wire though (the male one)...

I kind of assumed that that may be the issue. What does the female connector plug into? I think it was a brown wire...

There should be a mate for both wires to plug into on the passenger side. The colors may not match but there should only be one each male/female connector.
One of the wires that goes across is the power for the high beams, and the other allows the relay to operate that keeps the low beams on with the highs.
