morette vs jdm headlights?

I think the Morettes would look good with a Carbon Fiber hood, I have the cheap APC headlamps and they look good with it. Is there any other place to buy them (Morettes), besides Teagues Auto? I see them for $495 for a GC8 version, I'm wondering if there's cheaper prices out there...

I'm partial to the bugeye STi lights (have 'em on my ride) but the Morettes look GREAT on black WRX's...

I prefer the JDMs over the morettes overall, but there was one thing about the morettes that turned me away: you can't switch to a JDM grille without modification as the morette assembly protrudes in to the grille sidepieces that the JDM grille's sides would occupy.

I like the JDM's alot better. I personally think they look alot more clean on a car (coming from a show car standard). I think it comes down to which ones you like the best.
p.s.---the morette's look really good on a silver or black subie. The tail lights are ugly as all hell but the headlights look good.

I like Morette better, at least on 02-03. They look so similar to the WRC ones that I think they should have came like that from the factory. The JDM look great too, but I think they look too similar to stock IMO. A lot of it depends on how the rest of the car looks though.

whats the difference between JDM headlights and stock headlights for the pre-02 impreza's? Are they HID, or what? If there more different like the Morettes, culd someone post a pic, or a link to them, and could someone post a link to where they're sold, I tried searching to learn more, but alas, I suck at searching.
