? For members with Autometer EGT gauge
? For members with Autometer EGT gauge
i bought a used but never installed EGT and boost gauge. i had a GReddy EGT on my last car, and the setup is a bit different. there is a yellow and red wire with connectors on the end coming from the gauge, and then the probe has the same basic setup attached...how does this work? can the wires not be spliced together? must those "posts" at the end of the wires be screwed into the chasis or something?
more importantly, can someone show me a picture of their EGT gauge setup under the hood, any brand (i want to see exactly where you tapped the runner and wondering what normal stock EGT temps are for Subarus)?
if someone can show a pic of the way the autometer version is under the hood id be interested in seeing that too.

bump for wire tapping ideas...i have to take apart the dash again to switch my radio dash kit, can i just tap the power off the radio harness?
i think i figured the wire solutions with the pegs and screws etc.
