Low Seat Rails

I am in the market for some aftermarket seats, and am set on getting some Recaro SRDs/Speeds. However, I would also like to get some rails for the seats that will lower it a good 1"-1.5". I know in the Honda scene there is a company called Vision who makes aftermarket brackets/rails that lowers the seats this amount, but I am not sure for Subarus. If anyone has info on where I can get lowered seat rails, please let me know.

Thanks,

Chris

sparco makes low seat rails, I have them on my Monza seats and it sits REALLY low. I'm actually thinking of going back to the normal rails.

Like he ^ said. I have Recaro Speed 5's in my STI and they sit rediculous low. I am considering making some brackets to raise my drivers seat up a little.

Oh yeah, how tall are you?

I'am 5'9" and drive pretty upright (rally style, no "G" style) so my really low seats are ok, but like I said, I might raise the driver seat a little.

i have JIC Magic seats in my STi. when i put them in they sit at the minimum 1 inch lower than stock. thinking about raising about half inch.
depending how tall you depends if you will need to raise it.
i'm 5'7 so i sit pretty low in mine.

great thread!

How about the stock 04' rs/wrx seats? any lower seat rails for those? I'd be very interested...

I'd be happy with the seat 2-3' lower then it is stock...

Not likely you will find rails for stock seats, why? The Driver seat rails are riveted to the seat because of the height adjustment mechanism. The passenger seat rails are removable but that won't do you much good.
