Losing cruise setting
Greetings from chilly New Hampshire (we hit the single digits today here)!
Anyone had a problem with losing the setting on their cruise control? I've got a '04 STi and in the last month it's developed an intermittent problem with dropping the cruise control setting. The cruise idiot light stays on and the speed setting can be "resumed", but the setting is dropped (as if I'd hit the brake).
Brakes have begun to act a bit weird occasionally now that the temps have dropped too - I've started to wonder if the problems are related?
I'm closing in on 20K on the STi now, and this is the first real problem I've had (thankfully). Time for that service visit I guess.

What do you mean the brakes have been acting weird? If the cruise is acting as if you hit the brake, then I would guess that the two are related. I would just bring it to the dealer and let them figure it out.
