light bulbs?
Pretty sure those lights are H7 low beams, same as the Morettes. If you want a good halogen upgrade bulb that will actually give better light output for the same wattage, without a blue coating, some options are the Osram Silverstars (NOT Sylvania), Hella +50, Philips Hi-Visibility. You may have to look around for some of these as they are not as common as the blue bulbs.
One source is Daniel Stern's site, www.danielsternlighting.com , also try www.rallylights.com for the Hellas.
Yes it is possible to install HIDs on Morettes or Prodrives, many of us have done it. I have HIDs on my Morettes. The results aren't quite as optimal as with OEM HID projectors, but still far better than retrofitting HIDs into reflector housings. The best way to do this is by using all OEM-type components rather than an aftermarket "kit". You can find some more info on this as well as other HID-related stuff in this HID thread on NASIOC-
