l.e.d break lights = no cruise control?

I replaced all the external lights on my car with leds.. I didn't notice anything strange until I changed the break lights. It took a while to get them to work right (having my friend step on the break again and again while I pull out bulbs and reverse them to see if the others will light up properly). still not sure if I got that right.. but now the 'abs' light in the dash is stuck on and my cruise control doesn't seem to be working.

also the strip on the spoiler seems to stay on now, just it gets brighter when I step on the break pedal. I think before it only lit up when I step on the pedal. anybody replaced their break lights with leds have anything weird like this happen?

I posted before about my front left turn signal not working. turned out the actual socket was wired backwards.. doesn't affect a regular bulb but kept the led from lighting up.

I had the same problem, the leds dont have enough resistance in them...therefore the abs module does not see a signal when the brake are depressed, so it will disable the abs, cause it needs to see a brake light input, and the cruise control does not work either cause the cruise control module, needs to see a brake light input for it to work properly as well.

I put white ones in, and it made the abs light come on, I put red ones in and it was ok.

I had some trouble with my cruise control not working interminttently, now Im wondering if it was cause of the red led brake lights...

o well car was turned in off lease cant check now.

hehe
