Jdm Headlights???

HEy whats up fellas, i've got a question on the jdm hid's and jdm non hid lighting.
Are they physically the same thing or is there a difference between the 2? I've seen pix's of both of them, but sometimes the JDM HID'S look different from the NON-HID's

the hid's have a chrome i think, instead of plain black interior.

it might not be chrome, but it's a silver or metal interior

Oh REALLY>>>?? YOu can't get the non HID Headlights with the chrome?

Car Info: full race 02 Prodrive widebody with 2.5 Cosworth

There is no diffrence between the two housings at all. The are both with chrome inserts.

yea the parts on the NON HID that are black are chrome or metal or gray or silver or different on the HID's

clarification

seems like there is a confusion here.

The first revision of GD body was A revision
thus chasis codes were GDAA, GDBA, GGAA, GGBA
A-revision had 3 piece grill just like US WRX and "i"emblem.
The projector was only available in HID and the housing was black tinted chrome. Imprezer's headlights are these.
These are very rare headlights in US.
so if you see a chrome housing, it is factory HID.
non-HID headlights were exactly the same as US models..

B-revision (GDAB, GDBB, GGAB)
has 1 piece grill and "6star" emblem.
All the JDM projector lights on B-revision is matte black housing.
Matte black housing came in both HID version and non-HID version.

C-revision is the coming tear-drop eye (cross-eye) models

So there are 3 JDM projectors,
chrome HID
black HID
and black non-HID

go go go do you have a pic of Imprezer's headlights I cant seem to find any and I dont have a clue what your talking about.

whoa cross eye'd projectors?

i've searched the web, but i can't get anything that I can read.

could you post a link to where I may view the GDC? projectors?

comes only in HID. there is no non-HID version of this

Wow, you learn somthing new everyday. I have never seen those GDBA headlights. Do you have any more pics of thos up close they look sweet.
