JDM/EDM Headlights and aftermarket bulbs

I am wondering if anyone who has JDM/EDM headlights with aftermarket bulbs (PIAA, Raybrig, etc..) noticed any type of discoloration or bubbling of their headlights? It hasn't happened to me, but I was wondering if there are any long term effects using aftermarket bulbs.

Thanks

I have Silvania Silverstars in my EDM STi head lights and i havent had any problems w/ my head lights. The silver stars are as white as a halogen bulb are going to get. i also replaced my fog lights w/ silverstars and i love the results.

I've been running Osram Silverstar's in the low beams of my EDM STi lights for almost a year (wish they made them for the high beams too)...no problems seen (or seeing) with them

Brent.

JDM STi projector head lights come w/ a black projector housing and a chrome projector housing. the black ones are the non HID version and the chrome ones are the factory Subaru HID head light, which cost A LOT of money.
