It's a little dim in this world..

I don't know if any of ya'll are experiencing this problem, but my world gets a little dim at night driving my car. I have those new HIDs lights in my car, which is a little better than the stock.. But something just tells me that the outside world could be just a little brighter. Any suggestions on how to resolve this problem?

Have you tried refurbishing your headlights to make the bulbs more effective?

What do you mean? I have those bulbs that are weirdly bluish/white... depending on the angle you are looking at them with. I don't actually have those really cool headlight fixtures.. wish I did.

Ah, I thought you had some sort of actual HID kit for your Legacy, nevermind.
You should clean the lenses, which is what I think DLC is referring to.

No.. but I'll keep you posted if I find one. I'm sure someone's gotta have them on thier 1990 Legacy.. I'm gonna check out cardomain.com and see there.

Definitely clean the lenses, it can make a huge difference.

I took the lenses off and cleaned them inside and out... WOW.. i see the light.

There's a procedure where you use some fine sandpaper and a clearcoat to make it last. I'm glad to see that cleaning them helped out.

And get rid of those crappy bluish lights. Get yourself a pair of Sylvania Xtravisions. Much much better bulb in my, and many others, experience.
