Question Impreza Fog Light Question

I have a '95 Impreza 2.2l, and I was wondering how the heck I replace the bulbs in the fog lights? I think their H3 bulbs, but I really am not sure.

I've search all over for answers, but haven't found any clear answers yet.

hey man,
i have the same problem. do you have the LX (coupe)? i was thinking about just removing them (partially cause mine are busted. one has a small hole, the other doesnt even look like a fog anymore.) and putting some PIAAs in there place. i tried to pull them off but there is a mounting bracket above them which holds them in. this makes it interesting cause i cant fit anything in there to undo the bolts.

one thin gyou might try is to reach back behind them and try to fiddle with it. i am pretty sure the bulbs twist out (turn 90 degrees oull) like the headlight ones. also i looked up the number in the PIAA book and they do take H3s.

good Luck

Yeah, I have a LX(Coupe). The bulb housings are still in great condition(although one of my headlights does have a very small hole in it). Once the weather warms up a bit, I'll fiddle around with it to see if I can get it out. I thought they would be H3's just because that seems to be Subaru's bulb of choice for those fog lights on our cars.

H3 bulbs usually have a spring loaded lever holding the bulb in place and a single wire that plugs into the wiring harness. Unfortunetly you have to take the fog light assembly out to get to the bulb. I not familiar with that model year so I don't know how to remove the light, but I just wanted to give you a heads up about the bulbs.
