how to take paint off rims

hey so my brother has a set of stock rims but were painted black by the owner before and he did a poor job . iv tryed using paint thiner to get it off but it just wont come off at all. i want to know if anyone has use any kind of paint striper or sanding off the paint.

JASCO them in the metal tub. Leave em overnight and they will be super clean. Remember, JASCO is harsh and can kill kittens if you don't protect your hands.

+1 on the JASCO. I used it to strip an old bike frame. When I painted my stockers, I used various grit sandpaper, it worked well but took forever..

^^WinnAr, Jasco paint stripper, nasty stuff, used to strip parts on my dads '46 GMC pickup, still leaves alot of work to be done afterwards to get the surface perfectly clean(sanding, scraping, etc.), but its the best stuff out there.

spray some carquest engine degreaser on them and let it sit on there.. Took the paint right off my rims :/
