i have an 05 rs and baught sti front bumpers clips but they don't just "clip" on it looks like i'm going to have to drill in my stock bumper to get it on? did anyone else have to do this? and will it actually work?

 

what do you mean by front bumper clips?? the fog light covers? or the front aero splitters?

 

I suggest that you dont drill into your stock bumper!!!Just take off the clips so it flush against your front bumper and just use 3M double sided tape and your set...

yes splitters sorry i couldn't remember the name of them for the life of my when i posted the thread! anyway here's pics

 

i tried resizeing those pics a little smaller but apperently photobucket is gay, cause i couldn't do it! so i'm sorry their huge!

so the "clips" on the top of the splitter and the ones in the splitter i have to cut off???

 

yes, just get rid of those clips any way you can so it'll flush against the body.Thats all.

got them on...bad thing though there the wrong color!!! i know that sounds retarded but i have the light silver, and they are the champane (sp?) color and i didn't notice it until they were on and i stepped back! probably should do that stuff after i've been at work all night and i'm dead tired! oh well

would it look gay if i had them painted black? i'm planing on getting the lip that goes underneath soooo

 

the color you are referring to is crystal grey metallic, did you actually cut off the clip?? if not i might just buy these off you

imo i dont think it would look good if you painted them black, that would make them stand our far too much

 

yeah i did break the clip pieces so if you have an sti then your out of luck, but they will fit an rs or wrx perfectly
