Hood Splitter

Just installed both the STI Hood Scoop and Splitter and it was a perfect install. Everything went in on my 02 Wagon in 15 minutes.

Where did you get it from, what did you pay for it? Do you have a non-OEM TMIC? The STi scoop was a true bolt-on, no cutting, no drilling, nothing? Did you get a screen for it? I'm really thinking about doing that mod and putting in the MRT TMIC and a blow-off valve that vents to the atmosphere (GFB hybrid looks good) just for insurance because I treat my turbo like crap.

Got the hood scoop from J-Spec who is a great vendor. Got the splitter from Vivid Racing who is the worst vendor. You can get the splitter from ralispec and other vendors.

I needed the combination for my Vishnu Stage 2 with signature TMIC. It seals perfectly with the STI hood scoop and splitter. Vishnu knows how to create perfect combinations. Can't really tell the difference but I know the STI scoop and splitter is cooling the charge which prevents detonation! My wagon was dyno tuned for 91 octane and the TMIC by Shiv who is the WRX tunning wizard. You have to watch him tune cars to understand his dedication to the art.
