Question holes under STI spolier

SO on the underside of the sti spoiler there are 10 holes in sets of 2. They have a sticker over them the same color of the car.

Anyone know what they are there for?

My hope was for vertical slats like the rally car.
OK so that might be a little rice.

Later,
John

Sounds like subaru couldnt decide where to mount the wing. Are you removing or changing the wing? When i took off the wing on my wrx it had a bunch of extra holes in the trunk, they were for grounds and wires for the light in the wing.

my friend has a similar problem, he just swapped his replica stock spoiler for a replica sti spoiler (USDM STi) and he keeps on getting water in his trunk.

anybody know the true reason why stickers are covering the holes? the stickers seem fragile and can puncture.

The holes are actually under the top spoiler not the one mounted to the trunk. You can see them by just bending down.

I guess no one really knows cuz I just got my wing and noticed that to. I was like what the hell is this crap for? so I went to a real STI and they have the same thing so i'm confused as well. I hope no one ever comes by and punctures them.

those tapes are stronger than regular sticker tapes, prolly thin plastic or metal and requires drilling to puncture, that is if they are the same as the ones on the underside of our hoods.
