HID beam pattern in stock WRX headlights

I installed a set of 6000K HID's in my '03 WRX. They're really bright, but I don't think the beam projects out far enough. Its aimed too low I think, and since I don't have high beams anymore, I'm thinking about re-aiming them. How do I go about adjusting the angle at which the beam is pointing? Thanks.

Behind each headlight, there is a white tab looking thing that sticks out with a phillip's screw in it. Turn the screw clockwise and it'll aim up, counterclockwise will aim it down. I'm almost positive its white in color and is to the right on the driver's side light, to the left on the passenger's side.
Sorry I don't have a better description for you.

what is your color with the 6000k hid? is it pure white or with a blueish tint to it? i want to change my stock sti hid color to 6k or 6500k but not too sure... any clear description or pic of yours would help soo much. thanks

It's blue white in color, but not too blue. It looks like the Lexus GS430's HID.

Where did you get those ANGEL eyes from on your 04 headlights????
No high beams
She does not have high beams becasue she did not buy the HID lights that have the pivoting element. They are a little more expensive, but they allow you to replace the bulbs in bezzles that just re-angle the bulb rather than have seperate high beam lamp.
very nice setup, I bet it looks sweet at night,
but as always aiming your headlights will be the key, high beam or not, a trick i use is to aim them at my garage door then aim them either higher or lower whichever you are trying to get.

She does have hi-beams. its the light on the left. the '04's have seperate lights for the high and lows. Not like the BE versions. The hi beams are the circular shaped housings on the '04's.
