You pretty much plug and play. Only hard part is mounting them since our cars only have 1 horn and the hella horns come as a pair to be effective. I had the PIAA ones installed on my RS. I made a wiring harness instead of cutting and splicing the wires.

No...you can just reuse the stock wiring, unless you want to use the included relay. I just used the stock lines and they are damn loud as is.

same here.....

however, you DONT have to splice anything to use the relay, just have to make a few wires.......

1. you just plug ONE of the stock horn wires into the appropriate plug on the relay(#86)......
2. run a hot lead direct from the batt., or fuse box, to the corresponding plug on the relay (#30),
3. Make a wire with blade type connectors and a "Y" that connects to each horn and Plug the single end into the relay (#87),
4. Then run a ground wire to the relay (#85),
5. and finally, run a ground to the other tab on the back of each horn......and honk away!

EDIT: as HomerJay said, the hardest part is mounting the horns.....heh heh

Here is what I did.

I tapped the stock horn with a vampire tap and ran the line to the relay. My relay is mounted on the grounding screw by the battery. I have 10ga speaker wire going from positive to the relay to the horns. I reused the stock horn mounting location in the center of the grill to mount one of the horns. I kept the stock horn there too. On the opposite side of the same pillar there is an unused hole. Buy a bolt at home depo and mount the other horn there (or if you are ghetto you can borrow one of the bolts from your snorkel).
