Does anyone else have trouble with heal-toe downshifting on the stock pedal setup?
I have driven many other cars where it is much easier because of the pedal spacing.
Has anybody ever done/heard of a mod to the pedals that will help with this?

If you feel the pedals are spaced too far apart, consider buying a set of Razo brand pedals that will fit over the stockers and that will lessen the gaps. They'll help you heel-toe more easily.

hmm. it seems to be ok for me. but i don't use the edge of the pedals. I turn my foot completely. size 10 shoe.
it's ok. seems sort of far sometimes. It affects my feel of the brakes, but that's ok.
i think that they haev pedals with a special edge on the gas pedal that makes for an easier heel-toe. i'll look around.

since we are on this subject...can someone educate me on how you actually do heel-toe downshifting...i havent tried it yet, but its something i want to learn...
this is what i know so far, basically when you are say taking an offramp, you toe the brake, heel the gas, while downshifting...my friend explained it as rev-matching..but i dont know the exact process...someone enlighten me please...thanks

This seems to explain it well --> http://www.nasaproracing.com/hpde/heelandtoe.html
Buy wider shoes! hahahahha!!! Skate shoes work great. My current favorites are some NB trail running shoes.
I don't want to offend, but keep practicing. I have no problems even in my flip-flops. The pedals seem fine to me.

Ohhhh...that's it. There are only 2 pedals!
Just Kidding.
Nah Choku Dori, I appreciate your suggestion, i'm thinking about it. I jsut wanted to get some more opinions. It sounds like i need to man-up and just practice more.
Thanks for the input.

Oh okay, that's good to know.
Like I said though, if you really don't like the feel of the stockers, get extensions or over-pedals
