getting a wire through firewall ?
HI, I'm setting up water-tank float switch, and LED warning light on my dash to show me when water in washer-tank is running low, so I don't keep burning out those IC-spray pumps.
but I can't find how to get my wire through the firewall on my RS.
any tips please ?
thanks
Jon

Jon,
Just did this recently. I couldn't find any holes that I could run the wires through either so I drilled a hole in an open area of the firewall. The metal is very thin, I just about touched the bit to the metal and it went right through. After you and the hole edges and put the wires through you can just use roofing caulk to fill it.

thanks mike,
I was just about to drill when I found another way,
Another existing cable (passing threough firewall) had lots of slack, so I taped my new wire to it, then pulled it through, then pulled the slack back again on the old wire
project complete : )
