GCD guauge cluster in GC8?

GCD guauge cluster in GC8?
Do a 02 WRX guauge cluster (tach, speedo, etc) would bolt in a 01 RS? I have a 93 and my friend will give me his cluster (I already swapped is powertrain) if he can bolt a WRX one because my cluster use wire speedo, and the 01 RS tranny do not have any plug for the wire. Since he swap a 02 WRX EJ20T in his car, we can get a cluster for cheap, so we want to know if it will bolt there with none or minor mods. thanks !

different shape... if you look at the GD cluster... theres 2 big round edges 1 on each side and on the GC, its flat on the bottom.
