I am about to buy a fog lamp kit for my 05 RS. I have seen a couple of different places that sell the bezels too, but they don't have pictures. What do the bezels look like and do i need them for my installation? Thanks.

My wife just picked up her new 06 2.5 Sportwagon. We are waiting for the foglamp kit. The dealer assured us we needed the cover kit. I will let you know later this week if we wasted our $$.

They are the body colored surrounds - body work - that goes with the lights - must have

Look at any stock install and they are there

 

Still on backorder. I guess not many people fork out the dough for factory lights.

Hopefully in a week. They are called covers, though, so I'm still skeptical. I don't think even the dealer knows.

Finally got the parts. Apparently they went to Nova Scotia first.

Definately need the bezels if you want it to look good.

you need them because they have cut outs for the lights and they just clip right in

 

I forgot to mention that it would probably be pretty easy to use aftermarket lamps with factory bezels. The factory ones fit nice, though, and the wiring is literally 5 minutes TOPS (3 screws, 3 plugs, insert one relay).

I guess I'm still confused, I took a look at my car and it seems like the fog lights would fit without anything else. If someone has a picture of the bezel, I think that would clear up my confusion.
