I met a guy the other day who said that he found a factory roof rack for his 04 sedan. He said that they are only sold in Canada and the UK and he was going to have one shipped soon. He was going to get the info to me later this week, but I wanted to see if anyone else heard of this?

 

I'm pretty sure you can get a yakima or thule far cheaper. You can buy the main rack and cross bars used and just buy new mounting hardware for the body.

 

I have heard of it, but it has not been approved by the highway safety administration. Technically it is not approved for use in the US. It is sweet though. If you were to remove the black trim (03 at least) that runs through the gutters there are holed for the mounting studs.

 

Cool, I didn't know if this guy was off his rocker or not, it sounded like a pretty trick idea.....Seems like it may be more effort and cash than its worth...

that looks pretty nice, the guy i talked to said it was like the wagon factory rack (actual rails), though it attaches the same as the one in the link....another nifty option though, thx for the info...
