Just put a pair of the carbon fiber hood struts on my '05 OBS (same as the WRX fitment from Endura-Tech). The purchase was short and sweet and arrived in a couple of days, packed safe and everything in tack!

Turned on the garage light, opened a cold one and set in to DIY the struts. A quick read of the enclosed directions, two wrenches and 10 minutes (not even half a beer) I was done.

They look great ~ wonderful quality. The support bar is in the garbage as we speak.

No loss of hood height, still opens fully and no more looking for the bar and finding the hole (that sounds more like a Saturday night activity, eh?).

Excellence cost $ however. One hundred and sixty nine of them to be exact. But, a nicer engine bay 'dress up' would be hard to find...
