deflector under scoop

it makes the air more turbulant when it hits the intercooler which is better. it also directs air to your turbo which helps cool it down.

It's essential to use some sort of factory deflector or splitter under the hood that mates up to the intercooler with a rubber seal. That's why both the WRX and STi come with a seal. I use the STi hood scoop with factory deflector and a simple splitter that I got for $35/shipped that installs into the deflector with no mods to the factory stuff. E-mail Russ (Russell) and ask about the discount to i-Club and NASIOC members.
