Defi gauge pod question

Hi guys -
Really pissed about that hack attempt. I think it set us all back a bit, but what the heck If this was an unsuccessful hack, I'd hate to see a successful one...
Anyway, I am looking to lay the groundwork early for my mods. Going to start with the essentials and build up from there. That being said, before I start tuning the engine, I want to put some extra gauges in the ride
Have an 04 wrx that is 100% stock. Want to put in a Defi center gauge pod (http://www.kastleskorner.com/store/p...roducts_id=195) with 3 60mm gauges. Anyone use one of these things? If so, how was the fit?
Also, what kind of gauges should I use? Electronic or mechanical? Do I have a choice in that, or do i have to use what the factory uses? What brand of gauge matches the rex's interior best (black face, chrome rim)?
Going to put in an oil pressure gauge, egt sensor, and one other... What should that be? Already have boost gauge, so should I put an oil temp gauge in? What are your thoughts on this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Following gauge install, going with Vishnu turbo back exhaust and turboxs utec. Think that will do well for starters. Any thoughts on this as well?

I really like the Omori WRX Look gauge style shown in this vendor thread on NASIOC.
I'd go with electrical gauges but these may sacrifice a little bit of responsiveness compared with well set up mechanical units. They are just so much easier to install. I used to use stainless braided 3/16" i.d. teflon hose from the motor (on an old car) to a bulkhead fitting at the firewall to an Autometer oil pressure gauge and needle response was like right now!

Thanks for the heads up on the Omori tip - they are just what I am looking for.
So - Boost gauge I have, EGT gauge I will get, and oil pressure gauge I will also get. What do I put in the lucky #3 spot? Probably won't be updating the turbo anytime soon, but all the rest of it will be aftermarket sooner or later.
Whaddya think? Oil Temp? Air/Fuel mix? Other?

Oil temp - maybe. It's useful for knowing when a motor is fully warmed up, but so is the pressure gauge (pressure will drop as the oil thins). A/F ratio - I wouldn't bother if you're already getting the EGT.
My third choice would be a voltmeter. Some people might think the latter is a waste of gauge space but I had major charging system problems on another car and the factory voltmeter helped me figure out how much driving time I had left on the battery before the ignition would conk out.
That's my 2¢. Maybe check with Gruppe-S or Omori to see a list of their entire line of WRX Look gauges.
EDIT: The vendor for Omori WRX Look gauges in the U.S. is Gruppe-S, not MPJ - sorry! I've had good dealings with both companies and got confused.
