Any of the rustoleum blacks would do, i personally used satin and for my 2nd set of headlights used some satin textured or something, came out real oem lookin. Ofcourse any pictures that you see will not have very clear detail because of glare, so they'll mostly look the same, but satin or medium black isn't flat but doesn't give you that supergloss look where it really looks like you did paint them yourself.

you don't get house paint for this, just goto your local hardware store and they'll have it there. How long is takes to dry is entirely up to the way you paint. If you spray on heavy layers then it'll take longer, light layers but more of them means less drying time in between. I usually give my light coats 15 minutes between sprayings before i spray again. Rustoleum paint drys very fast, so 15 minutes for a light coat is plenty.

If you covered the whole thing in paint with your first coat, then you've sprayed too much on it for that coat. I usually get it all filled up by the 2nd or 3rd coat, and hit any spots that i missed for the 4th, and then 5th and 6th are the final coats.

no, but if you find out later you didn't do a good job i don't think you'd want to take them apart again

6 coats @ 15 minutes is only 1.5h, it takes longer than that to install suspension.
