Clear bra on a white car?

Has anyone had or see a clear bra on a white car that's been on for at least a year or two? I'm getting a new OEM hood due to an accident and the old one had ts share of chips, etc. I want to get a clear bra on the new one, but I'm concerned about how any discoloration would be exaggerated by being on top of white paint.

well i have a silver sedan, and my clear bra was done by jeremy (who still needs to come by and fix a small piece btw =P) but he told me that the llumar film he uses has a lifetime warranty against discoloration. so i guess if you stick to llumar film, you're good.

Hrm... well... a warranty is always a niec thing to have. But when things go bad, its still a hassle. I have the money to fix such problems, I like still to avoid hassles though

Anyone with personal experience?

I have an Aspen White 04 with the 3M Clear bra and so far, its okay. Its mainly dirt that cause the discoloration. You do need to clean it more often then other colors. The lady at the shop suggested that I wipe it with some Fantastik cleaner on a rag every week.

I figure a slight discoloration is WAY better then having stone chips all over my hood. We're notoriously bad here for stone chips because the amount of snow we have in the winter.

Honestly, I'd rather have stone chips than a big discolored cover on my white car.

thanx for the input guys. guess I'll keep stocking up on the touchup kits.

It's known the 3M is yellowish while Llumar and Venture are clear.

I got a clear bra on my '02 Aspen White. It's only slightly noticable when kinda close. I will post pics later hopefully.
