CHARGESPEED v1 LIP KIT QUESTION! help please
im really close to purchasing the lip kit. just wondering if it would fit my 05 wrx. ive heard rumors that it would need alot of modifications because the jdm wrx measurements arent the same as the usdm one. so is this true or will it be the right fitment?

The Chargespeed Ver. 1 should fit fine without any modification.
However, the Chargespeed Ver. 2 is NOT a front lip, it's an entire new front piece that replaces the stock bumper. Because of this, you will need to either get a JDM bumper beam or cut the stock USDM bumper beam down to size in order for the Chargespeed front-end to fit. Exterior modification should be unneccessary.

Damn man. Everyones getting this kIT! Ah well, I had one of the first ones! The V1 kit is a lip kit it will fit the car no problem. Its only a lip. VERY exact fit though. Need at least 2 people. Maybe 3. If the 05 wrx body is the same shape as the 04 it'll fit. The V2 is a full bodykit. Replaces the front bumper, rear bumper and sideskirts. This you do not need a JDM bumper beam. Just the regular bumper beam will fit this kit. You'll need at least 18 self tapping screws. ALOT of patience. Take your time! And jack stands. Good luck. Great looking kit. Awesome fit. Get a good painter! Latahz

that is why I got my CUSCO front lip which only me and another guy in Chicago have, hehehe, if you want one, I know a great place to get them, but you better be patient, a few months wait and you have others in front of you, hehe
