Chargespeed Sideskirt Lip

Hello,

I installed my chargespeed side skirt lip today on my 06 STI, and i can't seem to get my OEM side skirt clips to work. They just aren't long enough to go through the side skirt, lip, and into the rocker panel holes. Anyone have any ideas on how to install these? Or which clips i'm suppose to use? Everywhere i've check says to use the OEM ones, but i literally spent 1 hour trying to get them in, and it wasn't happening. They are too short. I even went over to a local hardware store and autozone to find new clips, and I couldn't find anything that would work.

Thanks!

P.S. I attached an image of them installed on my car.

I screwed them into the side skirt, but the only thing holding the side skirt onto the car are the white clips. Did you just use the oem push in clips on only the stock side skirt, then screw the chargespeed ones over the oem clips?

the stock side skirts should be held on by about 4-5 black expanding rivets(clips) and then theres also one more screw in the front that you wont need to touch. i just left those alone and then i just screwed about 4 self tapping screws into the chargespeed side skirts onto the stock ones
